OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

I think it is not.  You are the Sons of Jim Essian.  A guy with the user named jeff_fayhe has signed up as Bad Kermit's Team.  Maybe it's fabulous actor Jeff Fahey?  Or, maybe not.

Oh, that's a proper noun?  Maybe it's just a coincidence.
Hire Jim Essian!

BB's Mustache Riders are ready to go.

With Bob Brenly on my side I'm assured 8th place.

I'm in and ready to win this damn thing. Or something.
Desipio is a free-flowing website that occasionally touches on the immaturity, foolishness and outright stupidity of its readership.

I wonder if there is any way I could get Ramon Martinez and Neifi Perez together on one team without the universe exploding?

Whats Enrique Wilson doing these days?

8th might be real nice if it's out of 25-bajillion teams.

I set my goals high at the beginning of the season.

After all we're all in first place, right?

If the Roto thing isn't going to be created, I'll happilly join this whale of a league.  Sometimes, it's more about whom one beats than about which game is played.  Or something.

I'm in.  Ryan Theriot Rocks.

So we're back to a 20-billion team league now?

Can't you boys take some initiative and start up your fancypants laptop science league on your own?

(And can someone tell Dan not to come crying to us now that everyone thinks your roto league is socially awkward, unpopular and smells like pee?)

the roto league smells like fresh waffles.
Except for the fact in the Ted Lilly one that you can see the baseball in his hand behind the knife. I don't know about the first one but I'm be very, very surprised if the second picture is an actual ad.

Anybody else think that we need a few more pitcher slots?  I think we could easily go to 2 RP's and 3 P's.
Hey, I gotta go where the Blacktion is.

Alright, so has the league been created yet?  And if so, what's the info to join?

I don't think the Roto one has been created yet.  If you're talking about head to head, then the info's in this thread.

If the Roto thing isn't going to be created, I'll happilly join this whale of a league.  Sometimes, it's more about whom one beats than about which game is played.  Or something.

Here's the Roto league: http://baseball.fantasysports.yahoo.com/league/desipio2

League number is 31664
League name is Desipio 2
Password is morans.

The draft is set for Sunday, Feb. 24 at 9:00 AM (weekend draft slots are almost all full -- that is the last weekend with any open slots; weekday evenings appear to be completely full).

The limit is set at 16 teams, but can be adjusted.

Like the other league, I used the traditional 5x5 categories and added OPS and holds.

Roster limits are 2 C, 1 at each IF position plus CI and MI, 1 at each OF position plus 2 OFs (any), and Util. 9 Ps (any)

All of the above are open to negotiation, but I had to fill something in for now.

The draft time sucks, but the options are really limited.

All right, I changed the number of teams to 18 (and not because JD gave me an ALL CAPS ULTIMATUM) but because it looks like we got everybody signed up.

As a result, I also increase the pitching staff to eight.  Three starters, two relievers, three of either.

Since it's a keeper league I kept the bench at three so morans like me can stash a rookie there all year and then not keep him anyway.
