If we are allowing everyone to keep their top players at no real cost to them, why would anyone throw back one of their top round picks from last season unless the guy's arm fell off?

Maybe they underperformed their high draft spot.

Like, say, Jimmy Rollins did.

I'd be down if a spot were to be open.
This is so bad, I'd root for the Orioles over this fucking team, but I can't. Because they're a fucking drug and you can't kick it and they'll never win anything and they'll always suck, but it'll always be sunny at Wrigley and there will be tits and ivy and an old scoreboard and fucking Chads.

The two round bump is the point... it forces you to think hard about the value of player versus what you give up in position.  If we are allowing everyone to keep their top players at no real cost to them, why would anyone throw back one of their top round picks from last season unless the guy's arm fell off?  We use this rule in other leagues and it rewards the mid to low round steals while keeping the All Stars from setting up permanent residence on a roster.

Either way, I was throwing it out there for discussion.

Actually, I'd like to vote that Big Drinky not be allowed back since he routinely went weeks without responding to my shitting trade requests even logging in last year.
I can't believe I even know these people. I'm ashamed of my internet life.

I'm out. Someone can have my spot and any keepers I might have claimed.

I'll take Apex's spot if it hasn't been promised to someone cooler.

Ok.  You better do more better than he did.  He's awful at fantasy baseball.

I feel certain one will open up for you.  My team name was Cursed by GILgaMECHE last year, so you can't use that.

Acutally, you could.  I changed mine this year.

Then you probably wouldn't want to keep him.

When it's get filled, then I'll put up a vote.  In the meantime, add your 2 cents.  Prospective members, feel free to add yours, also.

I think we should definitely do it again this year. But I want some better players this time because mine weren't very good last year okay.

I also vote to ban any players who have been convicted/admitted use of PEDs, designated hitters, and PenFoe.

Have you even signed back up?  Don't make me spank you.

We're waiting on ChuckD to get his happy booty over there as well as RV and BC.  ChuckD's signing up tonight(that's an order).  BC, you have 2 days and then you lose your team.  I'm sorry, but I have to draw the line somewhere.  People have needs(namely, Gil).  RV's the returning champion.  He has 1 week.

I'm in I didn't think that was a real invite because it didn't play any Ronnie Milsap when I opened it.

Signed up and already underwhelmed. SIGH

#1 With a Bullett is in. Do I get to keep my whole team since I won?

BC got in. Sorry, Gil.  There's always next year.  Or 2 years ago when we let everyone in.

Members(you know who you are):

Start talking.  We gotta figure out the keeper thing.  Put in your suggestions and I'll make a pole this weekend.  Then I'll make a poll for votin'.  If you wanna gripe aboot anything else, then we can discuss changin' other stuff, too.  Palabra jot.  You have 2 days.

I like Big Drinky's keeper suggestion; I've used pretty much the same rule in other leagues. It kind of sucks that whoever lucked into the number one pick gets Grandpujols for two years.

I've never done a keeper league, so whatever the opposite of Tdumbs wants is fine with me.

What's the standard number of keepers? Three?

What if we used Big Drinky's suggestion and put NO CAP on keepers?  What then?
