Cannot believe this doesn't exist, but Kerry has 3 saves this week, today getting Lee to a soft grounder and blowing away Tejada.  The opening day outing was a bit unpleasant but he's now looking like I thought he would look and how NL batters feared he would look.

During Sunday's game they kept showing someone in the stands with a sign that said something like "Big Z + [picture of bananas] = Cy Young."  I had absolutely no idea why.  This is why Desipio is the only sire I'll ever need.

Sullivan strikes me as a stoner from the 70's.  I know he was at Disco Demolition in '79, and copped to splitting a bottle of booze with his buddies after they commandeered the Tigers bench.  In other words, AC/DC sounds like it woulda been right up his alley. 

Maybe he smoked too much?

I was at the yard yesterday, and mentioned to my wife as Kerry came in that closers entering to hair metal has become a little tiresome in my opinion.  I suggested that Kerry request dixieland jazz, or a Celine Dion ballad...you know, just to fuck with people. 

Now that I'm sitting at work and sober...eh, I'm not sure that's such a good idea either.

This phenomenon also highlights the need for more black closers.
