As was the case with the first Passion Pit record it was very grabby on the first couple of listens but quickly soured into annoying ear-worm status after that. I find that when an album is REALLY good on the very first listen it doesn't have much staying power.

Getting more and more into Two Cow Garage, their new album Speaking in Cursive is really good. Takes awhile to get used to his voice, but it's solid stuff. They are touring now with the Hold Steady. Similar to other bands I listen to a lot, Lucero, Drag the River, Glossary, Slobberbone.

I'm new to the Lucero crowd, however, I'm a fan of it thusfar
