If you like funk or Steely Dan or music you'll probably enjoy Vulfpeck.

Here's a YouTube link to their album Fugue State. It's honestly one of, if not the, best things I've heard this year.

I really like that.  I think I'm just going to let you choose all the music I listen to from now on.

Ok. Listen to this.

Hmm... your first time as my official music supplier and you've dropped the ball a little bit.  That's verging on R&B, and I prefer my funk a little more funkeh.  It's okay, I'm not giving up you yet, but you need to tweak your algorithm.

Ouch

Kind of reminds me of Lake Street Dive.

I'm really enjoying Leon Bridges these days. Between his album and Dina Regine's album last year, it's nice to see the Muscle Shoals sound still being recreated.

New Drive By Truckers is $3.99 on amazon right now. Wish I could say it was worth much more, but it's not.
The song on the radio is the best song by far. They are still letting the girl sing, and she sounds worse on this album.
I used to love this band, not I'm pretty meh about their efforts. They should have never kicked Jason Isbell out of the band.

The new Jason Isbell is really good.

Wow. I hardly ever get any enjoyment from the music posted in this thread (because I'm me and you're all you) but "Green Wing" is fucking tip top. Thanks.

My interest is piqued and searching YouTube/Google isn't helping. What's "Green Wing"?

Looks like a British sitcom similar to "Scrubs" only watchable. I believe I quoted the wrong post but Tonk linked to it here:

Green Wing was teh aBlls.  Way, way edgier and more off the wall than Scrubs.  I loved it, and could have sworn I posted about it here at some point, but perhaps it got Rattoed.

Finally got a chance to listen to this and yeah, this is pretty good.  Added to the rotation, and thanks.

TPD.  Just bought tix for the Treasure Island Music Festival, mostly for Chvrches, but any commentary on the rest of the lineup as far as the best stuff to listen to would be appreciated.  Toro y Moi has been on past year's lineups but not this year's, which is disappointing, and ditto M83, but still a whole lot of quality here.

Motorhead covers "Sympathy For The Devil" as the last track on their new album.

If they never make another album, there is no more fitting finale for Lemmy.
