The last sentence really gave me a laugh, because my first instinct was "I'll just post on there and kind of give him a quick reason why there's the Epic Battle of the Blogs." However, I remembered; I got banned making that possibility non-existent. I'm counting down the time until Al deletes this post, but until then, there could be some fun with it.

Why would he ban KurtEvans for something DwightKurtz said on Desipio?  Besides, that post of mine was sammiched between two people whose avatars are boobilicious women.  Nobody's paying attention to what I say.  I hate Canada, it's fuckin cold up there!  I'm the biggest capitalist-loving label whore you've ever met!  Apex was right - I'm a piece of shit!  But you're not reading this because of the boobs!

Actually what I liked best was the TCobb guy who posted below that cunning Kurt Evans fellow.  Apparently 1) a mature individual with a deeper respect for the Cubs makes for a natural ban-meister, 2) banned people who never post on BCB get kicked off because of the character they've yet to portrait (sic), and 3) Al Yellon is approachable to the people who recognize him and say hello not because it tickles his ego for it to happen, but because of his natural kindness.  Good to know.

I've never really got to caught up into this whole ordeal, but reading some of the post I read "over there" gives proof that the Internet is seriously used mainly for three things. Porn. Anonymous Insults and Insults that may not be anonymous, but are incredibly unintelligent, childish, and created from some booger eater that has keyboard muscles.

I'm not even going to dive into the whole "banning thing" but I can tell you this much, just read what the parties involved have to say. There is no doubt, in any way, that Al Yellon is a much more mature individual, and has a much deeper respect for the Cubs, and more importantly the game of baseball. When do you see Al cruise around the Internet and try to start a grease fire? You don't, because it doesn't happen. People that get "banned" or whatever you want to call it more than probably receive that treatment because of the character they portrait.

The only reason this pisses me off is because I love BCB. Are there parts of BCB that are annoying? Yeah, but you will get that anywhere in a public forum. Its called maturity, you don't pay attention to the derelicts that post stupid things and pay attention to the people who mean business. I may not get along with everyone, and not everyone is as intelligent as they may think they are, but for the most part BCB's most frequent posters are true fans to the Cubs, and have a deep respect for baseball. If Al was such a "deutsch bag" would he be the most approachable guy to a complete stranger that walks up to him at games? I'm guessing no. What a deutsch bag is, is a guy who creates a site to piss in other people's pools and to gain some sort of mouth-breather fame instead of a true passion for baseball.

Sometimes the bwahaha speaks for itself.

So I'll just say that I hope the character I or my booger eating keyboard muscles portrait "isn't" too deutsch baggy.

I have read alot of cubs blogs. alot of them have good/bad content. I'm not one to praise Al for his every opinion whatsoever. lord knows I dont agree with all of them at all, but I absolutely adore the job Al Yellon does. He has become an everyday part of my life to which I'm extremely thankful for. What I suggest for those of you who dont like his read, is not visiting his site.

What Al does is provide a fair shake site for all cub fans who want to participate. some of the content veers off the intended subject but there are alot of slow news related days to which some like myself are just looking for a good read.

its extremely immature to post pictures like the site linked above posts. to which I say grow up!! Al has a faithful following like myself and we will continue to do so and nothing will change that especially not ignorant,immature posts/sites like this.

I find myself conflicted: as much as I'd like the world at large to understand that Al Yellon is a hairless twat scab whose "respect for the game" is only outdone by his shallow ignorance and paper thin skin, I can't help but feel that he is somehow performing a valuable public service by keeping simps like these busy and occupied well away from the general population.
