Of course, Sandberg's TRUE Rookie Card is the 1982 Cubs/Red Lobster card, given away the same weekend they retired Banks' number, and had a great old-timers day.

Last April, I read this review of a new book called "Mets By The Numbers", and, knowing of Kasey's exhaustive research into Cubs uniform numbers, thought, "We could do this for the Cubs!" I contacted Kasey and discovered he knew one of the MBTN authors, and in the matter of a few emails with Matt Silverman, the other MBTN author, we had a contract with Skyhorse Publishing for "Cubs By The Numbers".

Skyhorse certainly seems to have a broad portfolio.

I've never heard the term used.  It's of no particular use to the typesetter, and covers are just copy soup from an editorial perspective.
