The 360 is featured in Amazon's Gold Box deals today.  CoD: World at War is the deal right now for $40.  You already missed Fallout 3 Collector's Edition for $47, IDIOT.

Wrong!  It goes all day, MORAN!

Is that why it's called "Deal of the DAY"?  I SEE WHAT THEY DID THERE!

Weebs is right.  But World at War is only available until noon.

I'm guessing the 10 AM deal is going to be HAWX.  I've been wanting to buy that game for a while, but even at the $40 price tag they dropped it down to, I don't think it's worth it.  I played the demo and had a lot of fun, but there just doesn't seem to be much depth.  Hopefully the deal price is really cheap.  Also, it could very well be a Ghost Rider game...

I'd guess the next deal is that Velvet Assassin, maybe.  Seems like there will also be at least one or two Guitar Hero/Rock Band games, the limited edition of Halo Wars, and Quantum of Solace.

Edit: It's Battlefield: Bad Company, not Velvet Assassin.

Ooo.  Battlefield: Bad Company is supposed to be terrific.

I think the sequel comes out sometime in the next few months.  It looked kind of cool, but I've always been a huge fan of the regular Battlefield games on the PC.  This one seems a lot different, but the destructible environments are pretty awesome.

BF1943 is going to be so half assed!  12 vs 12 compared to the 32 vs 32, only three maps at launch which are all just maps for BF1942.  Sure the destructible environments will be cool and I think it's going to be an arcade only title and probably around $20 instead of a full $60 but they'll end up releasing more maps you end up paying for anyway.  I was a huge BF on the PC fan (every version and every expansion bought within the week they came out) so I just don't know about this one.  I loved the 64 player madness.

I agree.  BF1943 looks disappointing.  They delayed the PC version till next year, so I really don't care about it anymore.  All the other games in the series (Vietnam being the lone exception for me) have been outstanding.  I just reinstalled 2142, and I thought that was a really good game, though most critics seemed to dislike it.  Things seemed to be move a bit slower, or at least more controlled, which is necessary for a game that requires a lot of precision but relies so heavily on network performance.  I actually preferred the Desert Combat mod for BF1942 over BF2, although that game did pretty much start the customizable/upgradeable kits that so many FPS games now use.

I loved 2142 also.  Sure it could have just been an expansion to BF2 but I still played the crap out of it.  I didn't care for the Desert Combat mod at all.  Liked BF2 a whole lot more.  Just wish they'd redo 1942 and step it up to what BF2 was and of course add more, not just cut back on the amount of players and re-use the same old maps.

I'm actually thinking about BF1943.  It looks pretty good from what I've seen so far.

The Bud Light part made me LOL.

I don't quite know where to put this tidbit, but Rockstar is going to release yet another downloadable story for GTA IV, named:

Battlefield: BC for $25.  Newegg has it for $20.  Duh.

EDIT:  I'm a moran.  It's the gold edition at Amazon and the regular edition at Newegg.

FURTHER EDIT:  Apparently, the only thing you get in the gold edition are some weapons that you unlock through playing the game, anyhow.  Doesn't seem worth an extra $5.

Hell.  Yes.

Unfortunately, this will just give even more ammo to the anti-gaming, twat-faced mothers out there who are now going to fear this will turn their kid into a ghey.

People with kids play video games? Or is this like that mother's day when we bought our mom a waffle iron so she could make us waffles?

Is there a reason everything is showing up as Currently Unavailable, or is it just my browser?  Also, do I have to knock up my girlfriend to buy these?

Well, that's odd.  It's doing the same thing for mine, so I dunno.
