No, I'm just usually mortified by my appearance in photos, so I predictably respond by making it worse if I can see it coming. In any event, I'm glad I was able to show up, and I do appreciate the generous forbearance of my general failure to know what to do in social situations. I wound up having unusually nondisturbing dreams afterward (finding a sock, assembling a giant trifle), and it seems to have cleared up some shoulder trouble to boot.

I'm am so glad that I now have a face to put with the name.  Also, this post is hilarious.
