Help a moran help others...
« on: February 09, 2009, 06:32:03 AM »
For the past couple years, I've been associated with a charity event called Dancing With Chicago Celebrities, which raises money for the Susan Komen Foundation for breast cancer research.

Here's a donation page. Tickets are a pretty deep dig, $195/head, but with this page, everyone can kick in a little. I set my goal at $2000, which isn't that much considering if everyone here brown-bags one day and gives the (tax decuctible) donation to a good cause, it'll go a long way.

Besides, I think we owe it to the bewbs that give us all so much joy.

And, as an added bonus, donating will pretty much guarantee you some "sensitive guy" secks. A winner is you.

Thanks to all who helped me out with this. There's still time, and every little bit helps.

Thanks to all who helped me out with this. There's still time, and every little bit helps.

Fork, my cousin died last night.  She was only 63.  Her cancer started as breast cancer and then spread.  She suffered a great deal this last year.  This latest contribution is in her memory.

I hate things like conditions that rob a person of their well-being and livelihood.  I like things like causes such as these, that step up to the plate to help those who have no choice but to fight.

Thank you for your contributions, Fork, they are much appreciated by all who are forced down a less desirable path!
