I just spent the last x-number of days watching my sister dropkick a brain tumor for the 4th time.  This time, it ain't comin' back.  I will see to that.

We were home from the hospital in time to watch the Cubs' first game of the season.  I'da liked to been here for Opening Day 2009, but considering what has gone on over the last decade, there was no finer place to have taken in that particular ball game.  Go Cubs.

That same "Go Cubs" sentiment, I pass along to all of you who fight the good fight.  May there come a day where all maladies and mishaps are made into myth.  May that day be tomorrow.

Thanks to those who have shared their stories.  You will find that in times of need, a little bit of support goes a long, long way.

Best wishes to all!

Really happy to hear about your sister's success.  It is important for her to know that you are with her in her fight.  Tell her that we are all there as well.
If I had known that I was going to live this long I would have taken better care of myself.   (Plagerized from numerous other folks)

I support the eradication of all brain tumors.  I also additionally support those who fight steadfastly to defeat said tumors.

Best wishes.

Pleased to hear that your sister's doing well, SD.  God bless her.

I think I've mentioned this before, but my Aunt (and Godmother) had a brain tumour in her late teens, and somebody else had to stand in for her at my christening because she was busy being given the last rites.

She's in her mid-fifties now, has her own catering business, is married thirty years and has a daughter who's just graduated from University.  She's never looked back.
Your toilet's broken, Dave, but I fixed it.

Your sister is bad-ass. Make sure she knows that.

I'll second the sentiment that your sister kicks ass.  Good luck to her, Simmer.

This thread is ghey.
I think he's more of the appendix of Desipio.  Yeah, it's here and you're vaguely aware of it, but only if reminded.  The only time anyone notices it is when it ruptures (on Weebs in the video game thread).  Beyond that, though, it's basically useless and offers no redeeming value.

"deepest Arkansas" ?  I think we have a user here who would contest that shiznoize.  I'm talking the deepest of the deep.

I'm at it again.

I thought the "Beardathon" involved JOn getting married?  To a lady?
