St. Louis is to Chicago as Cleveland is to NY.

Except the fact that the town that has the inferiority complex is a town that actually wins baseball championships

It doesn't matter.  I had no intention of giving either of you credit for finding it, anyhow.

Tied in the loss column. If the Cubs win and Cardinals lose tomorrow, the Cubs would lead in the loss column.

BTW, I don't know if anyone else on this website watched the Reds-Cards game tonight, but Baker absolutely fucked the Reds over with his brilliant managing. I love having him "leading" another team in this division, although I wish he wouldn't be giving games away to the Cardinals.

I know what you mean.  I hate/love when he does that.  This description of what he did makes me feel like I was there.

Yeah, he couldn't have handled the 8th any worse.  Walking Pujols would've made more sense than letting Weathers face him.
Those Cardinals aren't red, they're yellow.  Like the Spanish!

Ryan Braun has street cred and edge.

QuoteBright colors and embellished accents speak of a history of kings and caballeros, warriors and priestesses, edifying legends extolled with dramatic symbolism. Birds, animals, celestial scenes of lightening, smoke and stars are all presented to glorify the beauty found in the multiple layers of a culture's fabric.

The Remetee collection displays rich symbols of past and present, good and evil, grit and glam recreated in a pageantry of fashion. Emblems of war, peace, love and myth, are woven into the wearable translation of an unfolding story.

Okay.

Please please please please please just tell me those bedazzled jeans are part of the clothing line.

I'd be the envy of my jazzercise class in those bad boys.

He also hates his pitching staff.

I wonder which current Brewers Braun would want to get rid of when his GM "makes a move"....

This fool is trying to make a connection to Lou Boudreau.  Please, PLEASE, put Braun in charge of personnel moves.  That would be awesome.  Not to mention it would bring on new Remetee-"designed" team threads.
You two wanna go stick your wangs in a hornet's nest, it's a free country.  But how come I always gotta get sloppy seconds, huh?

Dusty Baker has touched so many people?
I think he's more of the appendix of Desipio.  Yeah, it's here and you're vaguely aware of it, but only if reminded.  The only time anyone notices it is when it ruptures (on Weebs in the video game thread).  Beyond that, though, it's basically useless and offers no redeeming value.

"Chicago Cubs' Sam Fuld, left, Kosuke Fukudome, center, and Milton Bradley celebrate after they defeated the Milwaukee Brewers 8-2 in a baseball game in Chicago, Sunday, July 5, 2009."

This outfield reminds me of any one of several movies about World War II.

This should clear everything up.
