OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

I'm not sure what thread it would belong in--but how's that Holliday trade working out for you now St. Louis?  I'm pretty sure Chris Duncan would've made that play...
Those Cardinals aren't red, they're yellow.  Like the Spanish!

Somebody needs to ask Dave Duncan about that.

I sent a text to several Cardinal fans: "Look, you have your own real-live version of Bartman on the field".

After years of hearing them chirp about Leon Durham, 100 years, and Steve Bartman, they have their own stooge, now. If they lose this series, they can shut the fuck up about the Cubs' goats.

Yeeaaah, I don't think that'll happen.

Besides, if you're looking for some sort of painful token of past FAIL, there's always Don Denkinger.  I like to roll that one out on occassion.
I think he's more of the appendix of Desipio.  Yeah, it's here and you're vaguely aware of it, but only if reminded.  The only time anyone notices it is when it ruptures (on Weebs in the video game thread).  Beyond that, though, it's basically useless and offers no redeeming value.

The clear reason why the Cardinals are down 2-0 is because of a lack of lefty RBI men.

I had a few  Cards fans invite me to the World Series parade already (they told me its impressive,  the last one had 3 trailers and this one was to have 4).  I responded this afternoon that, before you get to the WS, you have to take a game from the Dodgers.  Today is going to be a good day.

In spite of the fact that Mark DeRosa and his cancer-curing stubble is a career .422 (19-for-45) hitter in LDS play, I'm enjoying the hell out of the fact hat he has now played in nine straight playoff losses.

Who's this guy think he is, Kenny Lofton?

I'm not totally sure on the history here, but this might break the record for most excuses in a single quote in the history of the world ever:

""It was kind of a half-liner, half-fly ball," Holliday said, still trying to make sense of the Cardinals' 3-2 loss, standing expressionless and pink in the cheeks in front of his locker after the game. "I got caught. I can catch a ball hit right at me. It went in the lights, and I couldn't see the ball. Hit me in the stomach. Couldn't see the ball. I was just hoping it would hit my glove.""
