If this thread is truly open, then this goes here.

Sveumstink on the Nightengale nonsense via PAUL SULLIVAN:

Quote"Some (trade speculation) might be warranted, some isn't even close to anything we're ever going to do in this organization," Sveum said. "You talk about ultimate skepticism, that's what (the story was). I don't look into that too far. I think Theo took care of that himself."

PAY THE FUCK ATTENTION

Unsaid: "If the Giants offer Cain, Bumgarner and Lincecum, you can kiss Starlin's Afro-Dominican ass goodbye."

You forgot Posey and whatever race Soto's ass (||) is.

The SF Chronicle predicts that because he showboated while rounding the bases in the ninth, Chuck's favorite player can expect to get plunked at some point during this series.  What I don't understand is why every NL pitcher who is not wearing orange doesn't plant a pitch in the ample gut of Pablo Sandoval at least once a game.
If I had known that I was going to live this long I would have taken better care of myself.   (Plagerized from numerous other folks)

A three-run dinger in a 10-0 win, and not a peep in this thread?  It seems like we're just not interested in fucking Chuck any more.

Everyone is too busy creating the draft picks on MLB The Show and kicking the 2014 Cardinals' asses.

Meta FYC?

Quote--LF Alfonso Soriano hit his ninth home run of the season, an opposite-field three-run shot to right field, in the first inning. It gave Soriano a homer in eight straight series. The Cubs hadn't had a player homer in eight straight series since Derrek Lee and Corey Patterson each did it in 2004

Also, he homered tonight.
