If Soriano drives in a 100 runs on a team with only one regular with an OBP above .320, would that in any way compare to Steve Carlton's 27 win season for a 59 win team?  Just spitballin' here, but that strikes me as a pretty impressive accomplishment.

He'd be the third to do so¹. Nate Colbert² had 111 RBIs for the 1972 Padres and Tony Perez had 102 RBIs for the 1967 Reds. Colbert's season is more impressive, not just because he tallied an extra 9 ribbies (!), but because he knocked in 22.7% of all runs that the Fathers scored that year. The '67 Reds scored 604 runs, so Perez "only" accounted for 16.9% of their runs. Fonsie is sitting at 18.6% -- 88 RBIs out of the 472 runs the Cubbies (!) have scored

They need to play LaHair every day so it keeps going down, and then they'll only have 2 with OBP over .320, granted both Rizzo and DeJesus will probably wind up over .350.
