In 9 games in August:  12 for 30, .400/.542/.500/1.014.

Love.  Splooge.  Black man.

Woulda been nice to have that in April, May and June too.

He has a .400 OBP this season, which includes April, May and June.  That puts him 12th in the National League.  That's really good.

You want numbers? How about Triple Crown categories...

BA - .267 (53rd)
HR - 10 (80th)
RBI - 29 (107th)

AWFUL. AWFUL. AWFUL. AND THOSE RANKS ARE JUST FOR THE NL. AWFUL!

Does a .267 AVG matter that much when he's got a .400 OBP?  As for HR, you're correct, his power has been pretty pathetic this year.  But RBI are also hardly his fault.  He was hitting third for a quite a while and had Soriano's near-.300 OBP in front of him.  You can't drive runners in when nobody is on base.

We ain't paying him for excuses. You can drive yourself in with a HR, dammit. And there's no excuse for a Major League hitter to be hitting 267. NO reason.

Some might argue that WE aren't paying him AT ALL.  Is this the end for Internet Chuck?  When he gets FACED into oblivion by Weebs?

Did Kerm just make the same mistake I did?

If Chuck was being sarcastic, I don't think it's OUR mistake that his sarcasm sounds as completely retarded as his real arguments.

I think you should read one letter past "Chuck" and see what's going on here.  I figured this out about a minute after my post.  You're taking quite a while.

True, but you shouldn't throw beer on the opponent's CF.

This. At least not during a game. The window-licking Trixiemale Douchestain who did it wasn't the one who got ejected during the WGN telecast. They kicked Weebs out instead and that dude was standing there in his wristband pointing and laughing. This is among the lower points in my Cub Fandom, personally. It can all change with a sweep of Pissburgh and an extended run against the shitty part of the schedule. But at this moment I don't believe I've been this eager for a season to end since 2002. That year, I was also very, very optimistic about the Bears. FML.

The Cubs want other fans to help them identify the beer tossing fan, because he got away.

The Chad on the left with the white hat, shades tucked in his shirt and the wristband is the one who threw it. Weebs is the poor jmoke in the glasses who gets hassled and tossed. He probably did something to deserve it anyway.

That was a pretty good throw.

Chad's a playa, son. Why do you think he rocks the sweet sweatband, "Jordan-style" in the Bud Light Bleachers, brah?
