So the bell tolls for Gathwrong, but Chad Fox is still around? This is only half-wright.

After Gathright proved totally useless even as a defensive replacement, this is a good start, though.

BOBBY SCALES is cementing his legendary status more and more each day.

Somebody has to fill Hank's shoes.

Haven't seen him with his fly down yet though.

If that happens, make sure you're wearing eye protection.

The only thing that would make this sweeter would be if Bobby actually got some ABs.
I can't believe I even know these people. I'm ashamed of my internet life.

He doesn't want to wreck all the good will.
"So, this old man comes over to us and starts ragging on us to get down from there and really not being mean. Well, being a drunk gnome, I started yelling at teh guy... like really loudly."

.385/.385/.538 and playing a serviceable 2B/3B.
Considering 2 of the 3 starts have come against Lincecum and Gallardo, even more impressive.

4ks in 13 ABs is a little worrisome without a walk, but I'd say the initial results have been quite acceptable.

But were they "quality" strikeouts?
If I had known that I was going to live this long I would have taken better care of myself.   (Plagerized from numerous other folks)

He really looked like he was trying not to strikeout.

His biggest flaw is that he can't play short.

Bobby Scales can play anything he wants to, okay?

He did play 3 games at SS for Pawtucket in 2007, plus when they first brought him up, PAUL SULLIVAN mentioned he was taking grounders at SS.

I mean, not many guys can play 2B/3B and SS...who are you looking for, Ronny Cedeno?

Alex Arias.
I think he's more of the appendix of Desipio.  Yeah, it's here and you're vaguely aware of it, but only if reminded.  The only time anyone notices it is when it ruptures (on Weebs in the video game thread).  Beyond that, though, it's basically useless and offers no redeeming value.
