Season starts tonight, female escorts.

All the matchups are interesting, too.

Anyone here in JD's league on ESPN besides me and him? Let's throw some poo at each other.

I bowed out when he moved the league from Yahoo to ESPN.

BOOO, JD.

Boo.
I can't believe I even know these people. I'm ashamed of my internet life.

I'm in it, but I missed the draft. The Sweaty Hoopleheads got severely boned by the autopick cyborg. I've got the market cornered on ugly white centers though.

I think the Bulls are really going to miss Ben DeRosa.

I'm just going to pretend Vinny doesn't exist. I'm sure that will work out really well after the Bulls get their nuts stomped by the Spurs and Celtics.

Holy shit the Celtics are good.

Nice to see the Cavs off to a hot start. They really must be anxious to get rid of Lebron.

How about Brook Lopez for MVP?

Yeah, he's good.  At first I thought he was going to be just another big white stiff, but then I realized he's like Hispanic or something.

Also, I'm calling a Bulls win tonight.  106-102.  You heard it here first.  We'll see how that goes.

I don't have him JD's league but I got him in my other league and I'm glad he's gotten his career best game out of the way instantly. Get ready for disappointment, bitches.

As for the Bulls - yeah, we'll see about that. Maybe this new-fangled VDN is so sick of the critics that he'll shut them all up by coaching a decent game.

Nah.

(so much for forgetting about Vinny)

Spurs looked awfully good against the Hornets last night.  I say Bulls lose 94-82, James Johnson dribbles off his foot out of bounds once while DeJuan Blair goes for another double-double while Ivy6 pokes himself in the eye but not really since he'll be watching 30 Rock.

Too many points, dummy. Nice start to the season though. The Bulls winning with rebounding and defense? I could live with that.

I know.  I'm still kicking myself over that.  What was I thinking?

Great win for the Bulls though.  I thought Luol looked as good as he has in two years, and I was impressed with how they moved the ball on offense.  They even managed to beat the Spurs with John Salmons doing his finest Larry Hughes impression.  1-of-9 on three-pointers?  Yuck.

Nice win against a veteran team (albeit on the back end of a back-to-back).  I liked what I saw, and Taj shook off a rough start to finish with a decent game (6 and 6, though 3 fouls)

Andres Nocioni: Scrappy, hustley, drunk.

QuoteSacramento Kings forward Andres Nocioni has been arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.

Nocioni, 29, was arrested by Sacramento Police and booked into Sacramento County Jail at 3:30 this morning, according to a Sacramento County Jail Web site.

A Sacramento police spokesman said that at about 2 a.m. an officer noticed a motorist southbound on 15th Street near L Street whose vehicle was weaving within its lane. The officer stopped the car near Ninth and L streets.

The officer noticed that there was an odor of alcohol when speaking with the driver. Nocioni was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

In his defense, what else is there to do in Sacramento?
