I like Manu a lot but man does he take himself way too seriously.

If CT was still alive, I'd love a ruling on this.

I always enjoy Trueblood getting all of baseball Twitter up in arms and all the other BP guys going into radio silence for a few hours because they can't talk about what a knob he is.

Indeed. Sahadev is like the nicest guy on twitter and even he just shuts up rather than try to defend him.

It was mentioned to me, off the grid, by another Desipiot that Sahadev shared with him that this guy may be on the spectrum.  I don't know if that explains anything; I mean my wife--an OT who works with autistic kids all day-- thinks I'm on the fringe of the spectrum myself and though I'm a belligerent asshole I don't make it a habit of consistently hurling out provocative contrarianisms all the live long day, but I figured I might as well throw that nugget out there for your consumption.

way to bring it onto the grid.
I mean I don't think any of us are big enough assholes to just randomly speculate on twitter that the kid has aspergers or whatever. The information is probably safe here?

I think it's all publicly viewable.

Just don't attach Sahadev's name to anything.

Yeah, it's funny.  I'll occasionally click on the "Who's Online" and notice that we have quite a few "Guests" lurking....but they always seem to be viewing old-ass threads (i.e. right now someone is reading the Dead Pool thread on Neil Armstrong).  I figure a google search led them here.  In any event, a good time-waster is to sometimes click on one of the links that a Guest is reading and re-live the hilarity.

Just a sloppy, undisciplined team.  Garbage.

I always enjoy Trueblood getting all of baseball Twitter up in arms and all the other BP guys going into radio silence for a few hours because they can't talk about what a knob he is.

Indeed. Sahadev is like the nicest guy on twitter and even he just shuts up rather than try to defend him.

It was mentioned to me, off the grid, by another Desipiot that one of the BP guys shared with him that this guy may be on the spectrum.

Better?

I don't mean here.  I think all of us are in a relatively safe zone out here on the fringe.  I mean in more public discussions.

Sahadev's leaving BP anyway

That was quick. Where's he going now?

He hasn't said yet.  I'm sure it'll be great.  He's a really great dude.

He's probably the best Cubs twitter has to offer, but mostly because the rest of us are such horrible, horrible people.

Co-sign. Sahadev is good people.

Considering that we universally like him, he's probably dying.
I can't believe I even know these people. I'm ashamed of my internet life.
