Part 1 of 4 of Dan Harmon talking about every episode of season 2. Tons of interesting stuff in here about how TV sausage is made.

No one has ever loved anything more than Todd VanDerWerff loves Community.

That slight annoyance aside, really an interesting set of interviews.

That's okay. "Todd VanDerWerff" is clearly a made-up person anyways.

Today the cast returned to work to see this (from Alison Brie's Twitter):

Also John Goodman is joining the show as Greendale's latest enemy.

Huey, how did you fare on these online tests?

QuoteWhen he began writing Community, Harmon thought the character he related to most was Winger, who had "all the defense mechanisms that I acquired," Harmon says. But the more online tests for Asperger's he took, the more he began to wonder if he was just as similar to Abed. It had never occurred to him before, he says, because he has always been so oversensitive.

Eventually, Harmon met with a doctor and came to understand that symptoms of the disorder lie on a spectrum, and that in fact there is a place on it for people with inappropriate emotional reactions and deep empathy. Harmon now sees that he may fit somewhere on that spectrum, though figuring out exactly where could take years.

We use that to remove the warts from our mules.

Thanks all to moving this to the appropriate thread. I, as always, am a moran.

I was pretty 'meh' about this one.

But I think Garrett may be my favorite Greendale supporting character.

CRISIS ALERT!

Same here. Still some solid laughs but I think Parks & Rec has taken the clear lead so far.

Community is somewhat lower OBP but a higher slugging percentage.

Had some major lulz at this episode. I think they're firing on most if not all cylinders. And Britta's trying but she just cannot hide that sweatermeat.

According to Dan Harmon's Twitter feed, Jeff was the one who farted. And if we're talking supporting characters, Garrett's got a lot of work to do if he's going to surpass Magnitude and Leonard (Jeff: I know about your prescription socks) in my rankings.

Wow, what an awesome episode. Troy coming back with the pizzas to death and destruction, and the final scene of the evil timeline had me laughing loudly, from my facehole.
