For a minute I was sheepishly thinking that I had drunkenly turned away out of inattention and missed it like a common TDubbs, but by every account I followed afterward, Kane's goal was so sick it fooled everyone.

Including the Hawks play-by-play man.

Seriously, to those of you guys who really have been there all along, savor it. You've earned it. I wish I'd been on board sooner. I started sweating with 10 minutes left to go in the game. I was jumping around like a mad man. If it felt that good after only two months, I'm looking forward to how it feels to watch them hoist it again next June. This was glorious. Really, really awesome. Jeremy Roenick is a class act. I don't think I've ever seen such a genuine moment like that in sports broadcasting. Just an incredible night all around. The only question I have is when do they start the title defense?

Then insanity ensued. Kaner is going to get a well-deserved sampling of Cook County's finest STDs this summer. Even as a shameless bandwagon fan these playoffs were fun as hell.

Kane just confirmed that he would like to do that on espnews.

Corey McPherrin seemed to make a wisecrack as Kane was doing interviews after the game...something about "not using a camera" when he's partying with his boys tonight.  Kane was not very happy, and walked away at that point.
