While I'm not a huge fan of Deadspin, I do like Drew Magary's stuff over there.  Anyway, I was reading though today's mailbag over there, and it appears that Desipio's very own Dave B makes an appearance.

What are the odds there are other prison guards named Dave? I'd say the odds are good. Also, no mention of Theriot.

Well, considering Dave B told that exact same story on our Puckcast back in August, I think the question should be: what are the odds that some other prison guard lost half his infield when his third baseman murdered his shortstop?

Reading some of the lead up to the Sabres-Hawks tilt tonight. First of all, the important thing is that Lalime is starting instead of Miller. That's a huge break for a slumping Hawk offense. They've trash when 5 on 5 since the San Jose game. Second, there's WAY too much being made over the Kane stuff. Again, if you never had a beer when you were under 21 maybe you can cast stones. But even then you're a dick. Anyway, I highly doubt there is much booing but the fact is that it's an irrelevant story. The hockey game is what matters here. Third, I read that Campbell could get booed as well which I find comical considering he played his best hockey in Buffalo and was subsequently traded.
