It was an excellent hockey game.  A reminder of how entertaining playoff hockey is.  Good on Nashville to execute so thoroughly get a fluke goal and swarm the Hawks' zone for a couple of solid minutes during a sloppy third period.

My point, though, was that Nashville played a very tough game, regardless of the score.  If they can play that evenly with the Hawks 3 more times, forechecking as well as they did Friday night, then more power to them.  I just have a hard time seeing it.  Maybe it's my meatball kool-aid, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say Friday will have been the best game they will have played in the series.

I agree with Huey here.  As I saw it, the Preds played just about their perfect game, and still needed a fluke goal and an outstanding game by Rinne to win.  Even if they can manage 3 more games like that in the series, its not a given that they'll win all three.

That was the Hawks team I expected to see. The Predators came out strong in the 2nd and the Hawks responded.

This was as good of an ice soccer match as I've watched in a long time. I thought it was totally cool when the team of which I am a lifelong fan outscored the schlups who got a total FLUKE of a win in the game which had preceded it. I really feel that this is the year for the Blackhawks and I'm glad all of my patience with this team is finally paying off. I wore an Eric Daze jersey to school once, so all of this is totally genuine. Go Hawks.

Nashville's goalie played a great game. The Hawks could have easily scored 3-4 more goals if it weren't for great saves.
