Holy shit. That Kane goal defied the laws of physics. What a weird experience watching it at a bar with the audio hard to follow - it took everyone a solid 5 seconds to realize that he scored. Then insanity ensued. Kaner is going to get a well-deserved sampling of Cook County's finest STDs this summer. Even as a shameless bandwagon fan these playoffs were fun as hell.

Corey McPherrin seemed to make a wisecrack as Kane was doing interviews after the game...something about "not using a camera" when he's partying with his boys tonight.  Kane was not very happy, and walked away at that point.

I don't post here a lot, but I have read every post on this thread throughout the entire season, and I just wished I still lived in Chicago to celebrate this cup. It is the greatest feeling I have ever had in my life besides the day I was married and the day my son was born.

My dad was born in 61, and the first thing I did was call him, and we were both crying like babies from the emotion of it all. Then the whole JR thing, seeing Toews hand the cup over to Hossa......just an absolutely perfect night. Can't wait until next year!

When Kane made the shot in OT, I was the only person in the bar that realized it went in and started running around like Kane did, then everyone else caught on a few seconds later. It was pretty funny to see our bar reacting almost exactly like the boys on the ice did.

Man I know I just posted but I'm so fucking happy. JR was my child hood hero, seeing him get emotional last night was just one of the best things I have ever seen.
