I don't post here a lot, but I have read every post on this thread throughout the entire season, and I just wished I still lived in Chicago to celebrate this cup. It is the greatest feeling I have ever had in my life besides the day I was married and the day my son was born.

My dad was born in 61, and the first thing I did was call him, and we were both crying like babies from the emotion of it all. Then the whole JR thing, seeing Toews hand the cup over to Hossa......just an absolutely perfect night. Can't wait until next year!

By the way, I love the Burish comment about Pronger. I agree with him totally, Pronger is a tool. He has always been one of the dirtiest players in the league, just can't stand him since his days with the Blues.

Regarding the Kane interview, I thought he was sort of an asshole.  He introduced his annoying, screaming companion as "his world-famous cousin," then got all pissed off when the reporter joked, "Just make sure you don't take any cab rides."  Kane opened up the joking and then got all petulant when the reporter joined in.  I thought it was pretty childish.  Of course, he IS a child, so...

Fuck the damn reporter. Laugh along with Kane, shut up about that kind of stuff, and move on.

That's my point.  He WAS trying to laugh along with Kane, and Kane acted like a dick.  He's a hell of a hockey player, but I think he was a dick to that one reporter in that one instance.  I'm not trying to make a bigger deal out of it than that.  That is all.

And a 20 year old kid that just won the Stanley Cup.  Most of the sports reporters in Chicago news are idiots, so I'd give the kid a pass.
