... I got a little misty-eyed when Mariano Rivera hugged Andy Pettite last night.  What the fuck is wrong with me?

Maybe you thought about how insufferable Derek Jeter will be when he does his victory lap.

... I like Derek Jeter.

I don't really hate any of the Yankees. A-Rod is a pudwack, but meh. I don't know why Cubs fans would hate them. Don't they have a long history of dickpunching the White Sox and just about any National League team that goes against them in the World Series? I feel the same way about the Patriots. Maybe if I'd lived in New York I'd get sick of them but from here I don't have anything negative to say.

Apparently you don't spend much time around New Yorkers.

New Yorkers have forgotten Indiana exists ever since Reggie Miller retired.

So they didn't watch the Super Bowl when the Giants won it a couple of years ago and weren't watching when the Pacers dropkicked the Knicks out of the playoffs this year? Man, the hipsters really did take that place over.

The Giants have won 4 of them. Refresh my memory.

Thanks. Now I understand why people hate the Yankees.

I drooled a little bit on my shirt when I saw Pen's post in the burgers thread.

I have no idea what that means. But I do know that fried mac and cheese is entirely underrated -- especially as a hamburger bun analogue.

Rockit will find a way to douche it up. Guy Fieri is who Billy Dec aspires to be.

There's a place in Des Moines called Zombie Burger that has had this sandwich for about a year and calls it the Walking Ched. It's fantastic.

They have one called the boomstick with a bun made of fried chili. It is infinitely superior to fried mac and cheese bun.

I'm pretty sure that's what I had when I went there.

I admit it... I was skeptical of the KFC Double Down. But apparently it was a game-changer that ushered in a brave new era of cuisine.
