... I apparently did not know how to pronounce 'larynx" until Saturday night.

It's posts like this that make this my favorite thread on this message board.

How did larynx come up in conversation?

It was on a date. Doesnt (or "didn't" in your case) the larynx come up in all date conversations?

I do this all the time.   Not mispronounce words, but pretend that I do just so I can casually drop into conversation THAT I WAS ON A DATE.

Yeti hadn't gotten a response here yet so he asked his fellow regulars at Applebee's.

Or he was searching for this girl.

Why does she think that having a "fast" immune system have anything to do with how skinny she is?

Yeti, you should ask her out.

Because she has a fast immune system she is the first to catch anything that is going around, causing her to lose a lot of weight?  Nah.

Everybody knows that the immune system is a magic box with a single control labeled "boost."

I'm a DPD who consistently confuses the Dillinger 4 with the Dillinger Escape Plan.

I shudder when I think what could have been had they had been known as the Dillinger Four.

I just read this 2001 interview with Paddy from D4 last night...

http://www.punkrockacademy.com/stm/int/dillinger2.html

QuoteActually, I was just talking to the Bellrays the other night, and I was telling them that at worst, and I'll fully admit that this is at worst, but I just have this fear that no matter what Ashcroft says, part of me is afraid that in two years, Roe V. Wade will be overturned and we will be at war in Iraq. That's my fear right now. Bush is 12 minutes into office and things are already leaning that way.

One for two.
