...I just engaged in an email convo with Dan Bernstein about labor law.

....I actually called into his show when they were discussing architecture and the Stanford QB a few weeks ago.

.... I was listening when you called in.

Did I sound like a moran?

I've seen high school basketball at Mackey Arena. I think it was semi-state in '93. So that was fun. Carry on....

... I've never been to a basketball game at Mackey Arena.

... I have, and it's actually a wonderful building in which to watch basketball.

Yeah, I need to right that wrong. I've probably seen them play 12 times in Indianapolis, once in Evanston, twice in Hoffman fucking Estates. I finally bought an HD TV and I was watching the game all loud last night and realized that I might be the most fringe Purdue fan there is. Oh, how...

Wait, what?

http://www.searscentre.com/default.aspx

I had no idea that anything other than concerts and lacrosse have been exhibited there.

Apparently there is hockey, monster trucks, Cirque de Sogeigh, you name it. Not that I recommend going to Hoffman Estates unless you absolutely have to.

I saw a terrbile Bob Dylan show there.  Only time I've been there.  Kings of Leon opened.

I've been to a Purdue game at Mackey, I hate Welsh-Ryan, and I really want Albert Pujols on the Cubs. Mostly for the meth head meltdown.
You two wanna go stick your wangs in a hornet's nest, it's a free country.  But how come I always gotta get sloppy seconds, huh?

I will vow, for the sake of peace, not to complain about David Ross between now and his first start next year- 10/26/2015

Collective happy birthday?  Big Deal.  I have collected more birthdays than he has.
If I had known that I was going to live this long I would have taken better care of myself.   (Plagerized from numerous other folks)

I'll take that as a "no"... So: Happy belated birthday to the greatest basketball player who's ever lived!

True. And Eric Weems' birthday isn't until July.

Axl and Duff turned 49 and 47, respectively, a couple weeks ago. Dre turns 46 today.
