I think I have Miami Heat backlash backlash.

The facts are these: LeBron joining the Heat was the best thing for the NBA probably ever. Everyone is watching and everyone cares what happens. Whether he wins or loses, scores 40 or scores 8, the NBA now has a captivating narrative for the foreseeable future. Provided they don't fuck it all up with a work stoppage, hating LeBron James is only fuel to the NBA's fire.

Congrats on the new gig at Grantland.

The highway buckled just before 5:00 pm Wednesday. Heat makes concrete expand, and M-DOT believes that is what caused the road to buckle.

Just imagine seeing a concrete launching ramp for the first time when it's right in front of you as you head down the highway at 70 miles an hour. Sheriff's deputies say they think a few motorists actually hit the fracture not long after it happened.

M-DOT says at least two cars struck the buckled section of the roadway and went airborne. Marks on the roadway indicate that one of the cars flew about 60 feet, the other more than 90 feet.
