I would rather see Cutler play well in a Bears loss than see him play poorly or get injured in a Bears win against Cleveland.

Wait.  What?  How can you equate playing poorly in a win with getting injured in a win?  If the Bears win I don't care how poorly Cutler played.    And I don't care how good Cutler looks if the Bears lose.   But I don't want to see Cutler or anyone else injured, win or lose.

I believe, what Apex is saying, is that his desire for Jay Cutler to remain a Bear beyond this year (much of which is, in theory, predicated upon his performance the next few weeks) is higher than his desire for the Bears to continue a futile playoff run. 

DING!

If all this ends with Cutler getting his arm ripped off and fed to him by the 49ers, I'm going to take a nap in the lake.
