... I'm a little bit tired of Bill Murray's weirdo shtick at this point and I thought his 7th inning stretch was terrible.

This is all flannj's fault.
That is quite a relief.  I thought it was my failure to wear my lucky underwear.

I'm not wearing any underwear for game 4.

Harry needs to be on the video board.

Every home game.

Edit: Maybe go back through the WGN archives (if such a thing exists) and mix it up with different videos.

I disagree.  The whole point of the seventh inning shtick is to have some fun.  Otherwise we would be singing the last movement of Handel's Messiah.
If I had known that I was going to live this long I would have taken better care of myself.   (Plagerized from numerous other folks)

Might as well, everyone's standing anyway.

It would seem that the point of the seventh inning shtick is to provide a venue for C-listers to plug their new projects.

It's routinely awful and cringe-worthy, and Bill Murray was particularly bad. I turn the sound down unless it's the Harry video.

I presumed that he was seeking cover for being soused, but it was awful either way.

Eddie Vedder harmonizing with Harry Caray was perfection.

I've either greatly underestimated the interest in Halloween by people over the age of 10 or you don't understand how this thread works.

And yet, my FB feed is full of grown-ass adults getting dressed up for it.

Maybe it's a bigger deal in Australia.

My kids absolutely love Halloween.
When I was a kid, I loved Halloween.

I think it's a fun day and people who don't like it confuse me.
I can't believe I even know these people. I'm ashamed of my internet life.
