OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

My wife is having major jaw surgery in a couple of days, and I'm terrified. It's not that I think rationally that anything bad will happen, but sometimes these things go wrong. The last time she had surgery, on her knee more than a decade ago, she developed a blood clot. I'm not usually negative about things like this, but it's hard to imagine how devastating this would be not only to our whole family, but especially to our soon-to-be four year old.

I'm also not particularly superstitious, but I've always believed that if I consider the worst case scenario, it's less likely to happen. But the next few days are going to be rough no matter what.

Good luck. I hope all goes well.

She's recovering nicely. I've been assuming the role of Mr. Mom this week, basically handling everything on my own. I honestly don't mind it, and it's been amazing to see how well my son has handled the change. We were both nervous that he'd be stressed/sad when she was in the hospital overnight, because it was the first time she's been away from him, and he was totally ok with everything. He's a special kid.

... My brain has gone so far downhill that I'm having serious difficulty understanding quotient groups.

It's a lot easier when your brain never made it up the hill in the first place.

I bet Ken White could understand quotient groups easily.

...I feel guilty.  I have divided loyalties.  I am a devoted Golden State Warriors fan.  Does that make me a bad person?

Is the other loyalty to Apex?  Cause I'm not sure I see dilemma here.

They can always have synergy once LeBron goes to the Warriors.

Ain't gonna happen.  LeBron is the antithesis of the Warriors.  A LeBron team on offense is 4 guys watching LeBron dribble while he backs into the key, palms the ball, turns around (after 3 steps) and takes his jump shot.

No, it's worse, because it's just like that, but with hundreds of participants and without the irony.
