For a bunch of brainy white guys, Northwestern sure does eat ass when it comes to hitting free throws.  Holy cripes I want the 35 minutes I spent watching most of that second half back.  That was some awful, awful basketball there, mister.

You watched this game? On purpose?

Yes, mostly out of curiosity.  I wanted to see what all the fuss was about regarding Northwestenr; whether they were legitamtely in contention for their first-ever NCAA berth.

They're not.

I don't know what you've been reading, but nobody thought they were.

This guy thought they were.
He got the last page of SI a month or so back as well.

From espn's Joe Lunardi:
"I have a better chance of getting a date with Scarlett Johansson than Northwestern does of making the NCAA tournament."

But maybe he's really handsome?

But what about all those awesome scores we got to read? Remember those posts with just the score? Those were cool. I guess Northwestern won some games this year. It's always cute when a real team goes to their high school gym and forgets to stop laughing until there are a couple minutes left. It happens.

But if that ugly white guy didn't get hurt they'd have won more games!

But he did and they didn't.

Now let's never talk about Northwestern again.

It's one of the 10 best schools in America and has an excellent Athletic Department when taking that into consideration.

The scores were simply keeping pace with the thread where we update everyone on teams they don't care about whenever something they don't care about takes place. So here's an update! NU played like a bunch of gutless assholes last night.
You two wanna go stick your wangs in a hornet's nest, it's a free country.  But how come I always gotta get sloppy seconds, huh?

Since there is no thread for the awesomeness that is A-10 Basketball, it should be noted that the new AP rankings are out and....lo and behold:

Quote
25. Richmond (20-6)

First time in the Top 25 in 26 years.

Which means that, whichever lameass Big 10 team you root for, Richmond is better.*

*Unless you root for Purdue, MSU, OSU or Wisconsin.
I can't believe I even know these people. I'm ashamed of my internet life.

The day I, as a lone human being who isn't even good at basketball, get ranked...well that's going to be a fun day.
