Anybody ever eat at Grandaddy's, on the near South Side, a little west of UIC?  I wanna say near Western and Roosevelt, but it's been about 8 years since I ate there.

Maybe

According to yelp, it's still there, although I found the reviews to be surprisngly lukewarm.  I remember they had a massive sub for like 11 bucks that would rock your colon with a boatload of meat.

I enjoyed your sincere response to TDubbs' faggy reply.

I enjoyed your faggyness.

Huey, I still don't get why you brought up this place.  You asked if anybody had eaten there, then didn't remember where it was at exactly b/c you haven't been there since a white man was president.  Then you "remembered" that they had a sub that was a certain dollar amount, but you can't "remember" that dollar amount.

I brought it up because the sandwiches rock.  And, since it's still there, it's relevant.  If you ever dare transport your fruity ass away from all of Chicago's gentrified neighborhoods in which you enjoy fingerblasting chicks and chest-bumping bros, it might, just might, be an enjoyable place for you to dine on a big-ass sub.
I think he's more of the appendix of Desipio.  Yeah, it's here and you're vaguely aware of it, but only if reminded.  The only time anyone notices it is when it ruptures (on Weebs in the video game thread).  Beyond that, though, it's basically useless and offers no redeeming value.

The double down chicken sandwich from KFC looks glorious. And/or heartstopping.

Has anyone had it yet? I want one but I'd like to hear some reviews from people I know (or know through the internet).

We're all anxiously awaiting Gil's report as he road trips to convert from LA Gil to PEORIA CLASS Gil.

Should have updates soon.
I can't believe I even know these people. I'm ashamed of my internet life.

At 540 calories, 32 grams of fat (10 g saturated), and 1430 mg sodium, it's not much worse than a Big Mac [540/29(10)/1040].

Ok, I should say that this sandwich was indeed terrible.  I could not finish half of it and threw it away.  It was too greasy, too salty, and just an overall bad taste.  To wit, the cheese, bacon, chicken melange did not taste as good as it would otherwise be.  The bacon was the only redeemable part of the sandwich.

The shock value of eating it is its only appeal.

So, if you too are driving a Penske panel van cross country and are DoubleDown curious, have at it.  Otherwise, stay away.
This is so bad, I'd root for the Orioles over this fucking team, but I can't. Because they're a fucking drug and you can't kick it and they'll never win anything and they'll always suck, but it'll always be sunny at Wrigley and there will be tits and ivy and an old scoreboard and fucking Chads.

Gil's right. It was gross. Way too salty and greasy. It tasted like nothing....I couldn't even taste the bacon or cheese. It was a mush of salty nothing.

Did you guys try it with a ranch dipping sauce? Or dipping it in a mash potato bowl? Might be worth another try.

Or thrown in a blender with some banana muscle milk and made into a smoothie?
