Bump.

McRib is back.

I'd rather go hungry.

If you clear through MF, you just might.

A truly awful day Chuck.
This situation is bad for all the market participants, whether you clear through MF or not.
What a nightmare.

So, they go through the whole list of all the shit that's in the McRib (pig heart, scalded stomach and tripe) and then try dissuade you from eating it by saying that it has 500 calories and 26 grams of fat?

NOX told me that his account was frozen and if he'd left the floor he would have been barred from re-entering.

Yeah he was out today. Floor population is down by 25% at least.
Some guys have transferred their clearing accounts already to other firms.
But who knows when they will be able to transfer their margin money .
Which means they will essentially be double margin-ed until this is cleared up.
And who knows when if that will happen given the most recent admissions by MF.
It just keeps getting uglier.

I recently saw an article calling the pepper & egg sandwich a Chicago tradition. This is untrue, since anywhere there is a good sized Catholic population (Boston, NYC, etc) you can score a pretty good one.

Which got me wondering...after Italian Beef, what is the quintessential sandwich? Does a Jim Shoe count separately from Italian beef, since there's Italian beef in a proper Jim Shoe?

Why can't I find better things to wonder about?

I assume you mean a quintessential Chicago sandwich.  If so, I give you the Mother-in-Law

I would say that the pork chop sammich is also a Chicago thing (and a very good thing indeed)
Andre Dawson paid his $1,000 fine for the Joe West incident with style. Dawson wrote ``Donation for the blind`` in the memo section of his personal check.
