Let's say the Colts win the Super Bowl. Peyton Manning: best QB of all time?

Intrepid Reader:  Joe Montana

Nope.  Now I'm going to go upstairs and masturbate

Back to this. I'm assuming you're basing it on Super Bowl wins? I shouldn't have mentioned the Super Bowl, team accomplishments aren't really the best way to judge individual players.

If you had to win one game, would you take Montana in his prime over Manning in his prime?

Joe won a lot of games other than SB games.  As good as Manning is (and he's real good) I think I would go with Montana.  He always seemed to win the big games.

Whatever. Montana was a rag-armed little fruit. Manning is a 6'6 sharpshooter with a brain like the terminator.

Wait, you were joking, were'nt you? I'm going to bed.

Also, I'd give Montana just the slightest edge in the supporting cast and coaching categories.

Shouldn't Johnny Unitas enter this conversation somewhere, or does StagFAGGOTry preclude that?

There they go! There they go! Every time we start talking about quarterbacks, some old dude has to bring up Johnny Unitus. That's they one! That's they one!

I think he's more of the appendix of Desipio.  Yeah, it's here and you're vaguely aware of it, but only if reminded.  The only time anyone notices it is when it ruptures (on Weebs in the video game thread).  Beyond that, though, it's basically useless and offers no redeeming value.
