No way they have that roof fixed in time for next week's game.

Just a sloppy, undisciplined team.  Garbage.

If Zygi Wilf likes money as much as he seems to, he'll want to play the game in the one place he's guaranteed a sellout and thus a maximum gate - Chicago.

Also, aren't the Packers away at New England next week?

Yes. And they may not have Rodgers. Meanwhile, the Bears will be facing an eliminated Minnesota team that will be starting either
A) Shitty, old, injured Favre
B) Shitty, young, Shitty Tarvaris Jackson
C) Shitty, young, was drafted to play wide receiver Joe Webb
and will most likely be playing a home game away from home. Huey somehow thinks the Bears will still have a division title on the line when they go to Lambeau. Methinks the mick is drunker than ever before.

My guess is they play at the University of Minnesota.

I'm sure the Apex Mafia could roust up a few boys and fill up Lucas Oil Stadium as well, giving Wilf a few more bucks.

They keep saying that they HAVE TO play in Minnesota, that they owe it to the Twin Cities. Wilf might say he's "committed" to keeping a team in the Twin Cities, but just like Red McCombs, he's got his eyes on other locales, specifically Los Angeles. Would the Bears be OK with the game being played at the Coliseum or the Rose Bowl? Next year (or in 2012 if next year's football is wiped away), the Bears might have an annual trip to California.

In that case I'd imagine they'd do a quick switcheroo and give the Rams to the NFC North. That would wreck the historic Rams-Seahawks rivalry though.

The Bears playing in the Rose Bowl?   Be still, my heart.   What?  Oh.  Those Bears.

If there is a less-feared or less-influential mafia than my Indianapolis Syndicate, I'd like to meet them. We could rough them up. And just maybe be able to show our faces in Broad Ripple again.

A St. Louis game would be nice.

Looks like it'll probably be at the University of Minnesota stadium:

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=5916964&campaign=rss&source=ESPNHeadlines

QuoteIf the Metrodome cannot be repaired in time, Monday night's Chicago Bears-Minnesota Vikings game will be played at the University of Minnesota's TCF Bank Stadium.

Roy Terwilliger, president of the Metropolitan Sports Facilities Commission, which owns and operates the Metrodome, said the Vikings and the NFL are working on a dual plan for the two sites as crews work on damage assessments. A decision is expected Tuesday night.

"They want to definitely keep it in Minnesota," Terwilliger said Tuesday on "The Waddle & Silvy Show" on ESPN 1000.
