I just learned why Shaun White is famous. That was awesome.

It's crazy when an Olympian is just so shockingly better at the sport than
anyone else.  It was like Bolt sprinting.

Obviously he gets way higher than anybody else.  That's easy to notice.  But am I the only one that thinks that every double cork mctwist and every 1080 spin and every other move pretty much looks the exact same, no matter who is doing it?

That's just untrained eye. Like when people who've never watched a football game just see a bunch of assholes slamming into each other and then resting for almost a minute in between.

Or people who watch hockey and think that goals scored from loose pucks around the net is the result of guys just blindly hacking away their sticks and getting lucky.

I was really hoping that Milbury and Roenick would starting throwing punches over the Ovechkin/Crosby debate during the 1st intermission of the Canada game. When Roenick said he would pick Overchkin over Crosby, Milbury was visibly hurt.

I hope JR throw out something like "What do you know Mike? You fucked the Islanders for the next ten years." Hilarity would ensue.

I saw a piece on those guys on Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel on HBO last week. They were in training for the Olympics so they showed them practicing, talking about curling and sitting around in their remarkably shitty apartment eating McDonalds cheeseburgers while watching TV. Fascinating stuff. They had uniforms and everything.
