I know this is slightly amusing timing considering my posts above, but is anyone interested in an iPhone 4 for AT&T for somewhere in the $350-400 range? I think that's what they're going for on eBay. One thing I think my phone will have over others is the fact that I have some paid apps that I won't delete when I sell it off. Some of those include MLB At Bat 2011 ($15), Fangraphs ($3), Words ($2), Angry Birds ($3), Angry Birds Seasons ($3?), Tiny Wings ($1). I am not 100% on if these will transfer for over fine if the ownership changes. I see no reason it wouldn't, but you never know. If it won't, someone can let me know. I've had it since it came out last June and it's been dropped from a height over 4 feet maybe one time, and when that happened I had a case on it. I have looked it over and I don't see any visible blemishes like scratches, etc. Also, the phone, contrary to popular belief, is not linked to any child pornography scandals. I've kept that all on my computer.

So the buyer either doesn't get any application updates, ever, and is completely screwed if the phone needs to be reset ... or you're giving him your iTunes password?

And have you tried this?

So the apps aren't a selling point. Thanks. I decided to switch to Verizon today because I'm tired of being restricted on a 2gb limit plan. It had nothing to do with my issue the other night.

As far as the Google search, I dunno if I searched exactly that but I did a bunch of similar variations to that and.got no where

So it wasn't the iPod service needing restarted? Sounds like a strong possibility for iTunes not recognizing an iPod/iPhone.

By "ipod service needing restarted" are you meaning that I would restart the computer or delete and.reinstall itunes? Because I did both of those.

QuoteSelf-awareness is the awareness that one exists as an individual being.

I am aware of my existence of an individual human being.

Also, a workaround could be don't about the itunes situation but it would only work if one doesn't already have an itunes account.

Also, I'm enjoying piniellatailonthenightmancccatssterlingarcher's butthurtedness about me wanting to sell his fav company's phone. All that while having Steve Jobs' don't hanging out of his mouth. When I decided to go to Verizon I didn't even factor in the problems I had that night. I was tired of being stuck with a provider that limits my internet usage. I found a workaround to the phone issue i had that night anyway.

Being a smartass to someone is a demonstration of a lack of self-awareness? What a world.  Plus, being a smartest who claims that I've been trying to get people to "fix my broken phone for a month now" when it isn't even broken.

That, or I'm making fun of you trying to use apps you purchased with your iTunes account that require your password to update and sync as a selling point for a phone.  I do have Steve's don't hanging from my mouth, at least I think so because I'm not sure what a don't is, but correlation doesn't imply causation.  If trying to help you fix your problem means I'm butthurt about you selling it, then the lesson is to never help.
