All I know, is that if a spot opens up, I'll defend it like an NBA player boxing out in the paint.  That's right, I will throw my ass into you.  Don't pretend like you weren't expecting it.

Either that or you'll just stand around and be extremely well-hung.

Also, on an unrelated note, I'm not hanging out in the SBox on a Sunday night to discuss the rules.

Whatever y'all come up with, just let the rest of us know.

My only firm stance is that dudes who were ever on waivers should get the waiver/free agent keeper rules applied to them, even if they were drafted at one point.

I disagree.  If a guy was drafted, then that's his spot, in my opinion.
1) some guy's impatience should not mean some dude gets a righteous keeper.
2) we don't know who was traded and who was picked up.  i know there were only a handful of trades last year, but i don't remember any of them.  and what if a guy was traded once, but then some dude dropped him? the guy that drafted him might think he's still worth the original draft position
Can you help me live a little more?  I expect good news.

I know this may be hard to believe, but not EVERY problem needs the internet for solving.
Sometimes, you can just use your memory.

I traded you Adrian Gonzalez and Magglio for Holliday and Delgado.
I traded Yeti Harden for Choo.
I traded Apex Russell Martin, J.A. Happ, Orlando Hudson and Jorge Cantu for Chone Figgins and Geo Soto.

I would confidently venture to say that there were no more than 6 trades in the whole league, and there are 3 of them.

RV and Yeti traded Jayson Werth for Derek Jeter, that's four.

I'm sure with just a touch of collective thought, spearheaded by those involved, we could come up with all of them.
I can't believe I even know these people. I'm ashamed of my internet life.

I think you sent me a proposal to give me R.A. Dickey and O-Dog for Michael Young and Clayton Kershaw about three different times last year. Does that help?

Hockey's about to start, so in the event that I miss the internet brain trust roundtable tonight, my preferences:

Keepers this season.

Unlimited keepers, unlimited free agent keepers.

Keepers to be taken two rounds earlier than their draft position last year.

Free agent keepers to be taken in Round 13.

To keep multiple players in the same round (or have multiple free agent keepers), take one in that round and the other(s) in earlier rounds.

(E.g., if you want to keep an undrafted waiver pickup, a player you drafted in the 15th last year and a player drafted in the 15th that you got via a trade—all of which would normally have to be taken in the 13th, you would take one in the 11th, one in the 12th and one in the 13th.)

In the latter case, which round you use on which player is up to you, but you have to indicate the rounds for each when you turn in your keepers by JD's deadline.

Drafted is drafted, regardless of how you acquired a particular player. STFUPF.
