This coincides, of course, with the most successful era in Cubs history. The Cubs' inability to win a World Series, suffice it to say, has been well-documented, but otherwise, the last decade was their best ever.

While Bowlhead mystifyingly makes mention of the 1930's era Cubs team without also realziing that the quoted sentences would be rendered incorrect upon closer examination of these  Bill Veeck Sr.-built teams, this ninny would have only needed to go back 3 more decades to find not only the most successful Cubs era in franchise history, but the most successful 1, 2 and 3 year stretch of any major-league club.  In history.  I refer, of course, to the 1906-1908 Cubs, whose regular season success during this stretch has been literally unparalelled.

If bloggers are going to replicate the same kind misinformation and willfull ignorance foisted upon the public by 95% of the mainstream journalists, then why would they be considered much of an alternative to said mainstream hacks?

The company website states that name "stems from Ahura Mazda, the highest Zoroastrian God of reason who granted wisdom and united man, nature and the other gods."

Yah says he prefers to talk to non-believers, since he did not create religion (other than Zoroastrianism as a practical joke), and says that Bonanza is more accurate as historical fiction than any religious text.
