I've had Pequod's hand-tossed. It wasn't deep dish, not thin like thin-thin. It was a fucking pizza. I was with people who wanted to eat there but weren't down to order the deep dish. I ate the pizza and then I murdered them in their sleep. But the pizza was really, really good.

D'ags' deep dish?  I've only had their thin crust, which is top-notch.

I was referring more to D'ags thin crust which destroys Giordano's thin. I'd say their deep dish is also better than Giordano's but not by as wide a margin as the thin crust destruction.

So are they offering a deep dish slice at Wrigley or thin crust? 

Personally, I'm not in the habit of eating thin crust from any places that's known for deep-dish (i.e. Giordanos, Lou's, Ginos etc.)  Conversely, if I have a hankering for deep dish (which is admittedly rare), I'm not inclined to order some up at a place that's not one of those. 

Clearly, I keep very strict rules concerning the consumption of specific pizza styles. 

I don't think any of us could have predicted that.

I'm with Huey on this one. Why would I order thin crust from Art or Pequod's? There aren't many places that do both styles well. D'ags actually sold deep dish slices and thin crust at Wrigley last year. Although I wouldn't expect an outside-food connoissuer to know that.

My Pie does both extremely well and I will go back and forth

I've heard Art of Pizza does quality deep-dish and I know their thin crust is above whatever-the-Tierney-Line-for-thin-crust-pizza is so that could be another.

These would exceptions, though.  I've grown to accept CT's idea that the differences aren't just in style, but in the fact these are almost two entirely different foods, like spaghetti vs. lasagna.

I'm coming up for the hockey game at Soldier Field and was thinking about hitting Burt's. Is that worth a special trip, and assuming it is, is it recommended to call a day in advance or two?

Also, the stuff they call pizza here in Ohio sucks balls.
