Soupy back tonight, that's good news. Should let Keith not have to play 30+ minutes a game for a while.

Has Duncan Keith gotten hooked on blow?  Contracted an STD?  Knock somebody up?  Does he have a dying relative somewhere?  Is he gambling on games?  I really want to know so maybe we can get him some help so that he can stop looking so baflfingly lost out there.  Because even though he's been my favorite player these last three seasons I otherwise feel like throwing him into a wood chipper right now.  Holy crap was he bad last night, and has been playing poorly all season.  He's still only 26 so I'm not expecting him to continue to improve like I do with Toews and Kane, but I feel he should at least be maintaining the level he's set for himself through last year.
Just a sloppy, undisciplined team.  Garbage.

Hopefully being 2000 miles from the Pony the next couple weeks is what these guys need.

Maybe they can go to another wake or something.  Either way, if there's meshing to be done with all of these new guys, let it be done.  I can be patient until December.

Oh those pesky Blackhawks, with their smartphone/tablet hybrids, publically displayed email addresses, sexting, innuendo and Bruce Wolf: http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/blog/puck_daddy/post/Video-New-Toews-and-Kane-phone-commercial-with?urn=nhl-285359#remaining-content
This is so bad, I'd root for the Orioles over this fucking team, but I can't. Because they're a fucking drug and you can't kick it and they'll never win anything and they'll always suck, but it'll always be sunny at Wrigley and there will be tits and ivy and an old scoreboard and fucking Chads.

More or less creepy than Toews' "fuck me" stare in that Daydream Nation Corvette ad?

I'm going with "less"... But it's close.

Andre Dawson paid his $1,000 fine for the Joe West incident with style. Dawson wrote ``Donation for the blind`` in the memo section of his personal check.

QuoteSAN JOSE, Calif. — There are a couple of things Antti Niemi doesn't miss about Chicago, the city he helped send into a frenzy a few months ago as the goaltender of the Blackhawks' Stanley Cup championship team.

First, there's deep-dish pizza, often the one thing former Chicagoans crave the most.

"I can't stand it," Niemi said Monday at the Sharks' practice facility. "I like thin pizza."

I'm guessing he misses the shit out of playing behind a team that can play defense.

I bet Turco and Crawford miss that, too.
