Motherfucker.

Felt like OT was the probable outcome but a couple of bad calls timed with Luongo playing unbelievable hockey equals a loss. The Sedins are creeps but those creeps can skate.

I felt the Hawks outplayed the Canucks up and down the ice all game long.

And, against a team like that, with such a small margin of error, those bad calls were enough to hose them in an otherwise great hockey game.

Mostly I'm just pissed that, of all teams, it's that gang of mincing dickholes and their swollen-headed pepsi of a coach walking out with both points the Hawks earned (even if losing points to Vancouver in particular means little in practical terms at this point).

Maybe the Hawks had an edge in play but Luongo was sensational.

He had to be.  The Canucks blue line is uninspiring at best.  It wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if the Hawks got the 8th seed and ended up with a chance to punch those President's Trophy winning assholes in the throat in the first round.

Of course, they have to get the 8th seed first.

Because it happened in a 2-goalie-fight week.

That was a nice win.  Felt like forever since they took two clean points even.  Need like 15 more of those.
Just a sloppy, undisciplined team.  Garbage.

Perhaps a minor quibble, but I thought the game turned when Viktor Stallberg failed to catch a pass and then proceeded to draw a stupid interference call in the Hawks' offensive zone, which led to the game-tying goal.  That seems dick-kick worthy to me.

And it's hard to watch this Bizarro Duncan Keith character attempt to play hockey.  I miss the guy who wore #2 for the previous 3 years.

Can we also get the Marian Hossa back who doesn't miss empty nets from 2 feet away?

I thought the beastly Hossa was back after the last game against Minnesota.

Guess I was wrong.
