Bump for a Bill Murray-inspired Dose.

Huey's always good for making sure that all of us know there's a new post on the website where we all spend all day.

Actually, SKO, I come directly to the messageboard - so if Huey hadn't pointed it out, I'd have missed it.

Thanks, Mike.

So that oral history from Oct. 12 up there doesn't capture your fancy? Interesting.
You two wanna go stick your wangs in a hornet's nest, it's a free country.  But how come I always gotta get sloppy seconds, huh?

Really.  I know people aren't aware when Desipio updates.  Hell, if it wasn't for me newfound dalliance with Twitter, I'd have had no idea.

I thought that everyone got that tingling in their toes when Desipio updates.  On the other hand, maybe that's just my pre-diabetes.
If I had known that I was going to live this long I would have taken better care of myself.   (Plagerized from numerous other folks)

Bump.

QuoteMurray, 64, has not made it easy to get him to be in your movie. Unlike any other actor of his stature, he has no agent, no manager, no publicist. If you want to cast him, you get a friend of his to persuade him. Or you call his secret 1-800 number and leave your pitch after the tone. If he checks his voicemail, maybe he'll call you back. After he agrees to be in your movie, you may not hear from him again until the first day of shooting, when he'll show up in the makeup trailer, cracking jokes and giving back rubs.

I actually liked this even better:

QuotePeter Chatzky, a financial-software developer from Briarcliff Manor, New York, remembers being on vacation at a hotel in Naples, Florida, when his grade-school kids spotted Murray having a drink poolside and asked him for autographs. Murray gruffly offered to inscribe their forearms but ended up writing on a couple of napkins instead. Jake, a skinny kid, got "Maybe lose a little weight, bud," signed "Jim Belushi."

Bump for saying what we all feel.

QuoteBut he also found time for almost everyone who approached him Wednesday, especially if you were a little kid or a pretty girl.

If you were a St. Louis Cardinals fan? Well, maybe not.

Murray, wearing a floppy hat and a blue and gold paisley shirt that was perpetually untucked, began bantering with the masses before he took his first swing.

He asked if any fans saw his beloved Cubs sweep St. Louis in a double-header Tuesday. One woman behind the ropes said she was a Cardinals fan.

"Satan's messengers on Earth," was the way Murray described the Cardinals.

"And then it turns out your team is cheaters, too,'' he added.

QuoteA few steps away, a boy with a Cardinals hat asked for an autograph. Murray signed, then noticed the red cap. "Are you a Cardinals fan? Get out of here. Rotten kid."
