OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

Man, if Hendry can't trade Lilly or get Lee to waive his no trade clause, Ricketts ABSOLUTELY HAS TO KEEP Hendry on for next year.

He's KEEPING THE BAND TOGETHER!

The two guys everyone assumed were ghost are probably going to stay. Classic Hendry.

At this point, if they keep Ted, do they just get him an extension? Is that out of the question? He seems like one of those guys that will pitch until he's 45.

He'll probably sign an extension and get sent up for murder the next day. Classic Hendry.

Dodgers waiting on the Cubs to throw in money for Lilly.  Awesome.

Give 'em the whole four mil but make them take Theriot too.

If they want $$ and Lilly, they better be throwing in Andre Ethier. Fuck LA.

Seriously. Keep Ted. This is bogus - then again these are two guys with a weird Juan Pierre fetish.

Might not be much longer...

Quote10:53pm: The Dodgers and Cubs are closing in on a deal, according to ESPN.com's Buster Olney (via Twitter).
You two wanna go stick your wangs in a hornet's nest, it's a free country.  But how come I always gotta get sloppy seconds, huh?

So now the scuttlebutt is that the Cubs would get Blake DeWitt (career .262/.340/.379/.719/93 OPS+) and "one other player" in a Lilly-Theriot deal.  Yay?

This is so exciting!  The Cubs traded Lilly and Theriot for a younger version of Theriot who can't steal bases!  It's not quite as good as the time they robbed the Dodgers of Izturis, but it's still a great day for the Cubs!

Maybe he's a better baserunner though. Theriot makes Jock Jones look like Lou Brock.

All I care about is that I don't have to listen to the speculation anymore.  When does the professional table tennis season start?
If I had known that I was going to live this long I would have taken better care of myself.   (Plagerized from numerous other folks)

So from my limited googlings of B. Lake Dewitt, it looks like he's much younger and cheaper than Theriot, but doesn't have a lot more power and isn't great defensively. In short, meh. Any reason why I should change my mind?
