So from my limited googlings of B. Lake Dewitt, it looks like he's much younger and cheaper than Theriot, but doesn't have a lot more power and isn't great defensively. In short, meh. Any reason why I should change my mind?

It's possible that he doesn't run the bases with his helmet put on backwards, which makes him a step up.

Also -- he may be too tall to act a a stand-in for Frodo Baggins.
