Dammit, I was just starting to get a Nathan Steelhouse chubby and he had to go and throw 3 picks. I still like this Illinois team.

The key is for Zook to make sure they don't get too down about this loss. A win would have been great but they made MSU earn it and they need to make sure that they don't lose sight of the next two very winnable home games. Win those and you're one win shy of a bowl. That's really all I'm asking for this year.

It's not like he's doing any of the coaching this season anyway. If he can continue to be the fine recruiter that he is with none of the actual coaching responsibilities going forward, I can live with that.

I wasn't 4 miles from my house yesterday but I felt like I was in East Lansing.  Funny to see a team win by eight after getting their first lead with literally two minutes left in the game.  I'll confess that Northwestern's better than I thought.  Good on 'em.

So what happened in Iowa City?  Was the epic failure of burning a timeout instead of spiking the ball on Ferentz or that Ricky dude?  Nice clock management, Jim.

Based on the season so far I think Auburn-Oregon would be the most entertaining title game. Maybe not the best title game...but the right title game.

Yes, and fuck that game. Until Boise gets it's FAIR SHOT, I won't shut up about them. They're a great team. Let them get play for the title (or, the better idea...
