Representatives from the Texas Bowl were at the homecoming game against Indiana, evidently.

With a somewhat soft schedule to finish up, I could see the Fighting Illini completing the season with 7 wins.

As long as they have the coordinators do the actual coaching and game planning, leaving Zook to recruiting duties only, Illinois could be pretty good.

Illinois could very well lose to the Cats in the Ricketts Bowl next week and have their once-presumed Bowl eligibility riding on that trip to Fresno St. That will be no cakewalk, octaroons. I guess people are happy with Zook though still? Even after today's tardfest, he should keep his jorb as the all-world recruiter and let those other dipshits manage the team? Fuck it, it works for me.

Not that it would have mattered, after those clown shoes were in the midst of blowing a 10 point lead to those goofs from Minnesota, but why wouldn't you at least start burning them after the 45 yard run made it first-and-goal at the 5 with, what, 1:11 to play?  At least buy yourself a last chance instead of just standing there like a dope as it alll crumbles around you.
