They also might want to score more points. Just thought I would throw in that extra nugget.

All this analysis ignores the most important basic fundamental of football... it's an 11-on-11 game, folks.

They'll need to force turnovers. They can do this in one of two ways.

1. Intercept a pass
2. Recover a fumble

I don't consider turnovers on downs as actual turnovers because they take at least four plays to create. You want your defense on the field for as few plays as possible. Because when you have the ball, your opponent doesn't and can't score unless you:

1. Throw an interception
2. Lose a fumble.

Of course your opponent could also score if you have a kick blocked, which goes back to BCs point about playing good on special teams.

I can't lie; I laughed REALLY loudly at this.
This is so bad, I'd root for the Orioles over this fucking team, but I can't. Because they're a fucking drug and you can't kick it and they'll never win anything and they'll always suck, but it'll always be sunny at Wrigley and there will be tits and ivy and an old scoreboard and fucking Chads.

To be fair, nothing BC said was wrong. You have to play really well to beat a good team. Unless...

What if that good team has a really bad game?

Shit. Football is hard.

Cutler will have to cut down on his near interceptions in order for the Bears to win.

Tom Brady's only thrown 2 near-interceptions this year despite having 4 real interceptions. They were Randy Moss's fault.

Rodgers knocked out of the Packers-Lions game with a concussion. Wonderful ballgame by the way, 0-0 at halftime.

I just put up two Christmas trees while watching the Bears game.

I'm pissed off and sticky.

I think the Packers might be the best team in NFL history to have ever lost a crucial December game to the Lions.
